The focus of your role within Capgemini, what you do:

The Pre-Sales Solution Director is a core member of the Sales Pursuit team and leads a team of solution architects and subject matter experts in the development of a solution proposal response to prospective Client Request for Information (RFI), Request for Solution (RFS) or Request for Proposal (RFP).

This is a senior role with Capgemini’s Cloud Infrastructure Services business unit which is integral to supporting our Sales Organization in linking our Client’s mission, business strategy and processes to their IT strategy and showcasing their journey from ideation to execution.

Key accountabilities include:

• Driving the Solutioning activities for large complex deals ($50M TCV) which involve multiple service lines and / or technology domains

• Define solution vision, value proposition and transformational direction which build on the synergies and benefits across Capgemini service offers

• Drive the translation of complex business initiatives into innovative business-technology solutions and ensure consistency across traditional solution boundaries.

• Work with Business Stakeholders and Project Managers to understand inefficiencies in clients’ existing business processes and applications and recommend solutions

• Provide expertise on commercially structuring deals to differentiate from the competition

What you bring:

Minimum 12 years working for a Tier 1/2 Technology Services Provider

Proficient in the Pre-Sales Solutioning Process lead by 3rd Party Advisors (e.g. ISG, PWC)

Prior experience leading large complex Infrastructure Technology Outsourcing (ITO) pursuits $100M TCV

Proficiency in at least 2 infrastructure technology disciplines as well as a knowledgeable in ITO Services

Knowledgeable in solutioning Application Development, Application Maintenance and Public Cloud Services a huge plus

Strong leadership skills and experienced in leading multi-cultural teams

Demonstrated ability to communicate (written & verbal) effectively and influence at CxO level
