Capgemini Project Lead - Project Manager with Testing Delivery Experience in Atlanta, Georgia

Overall purpose of role*

Responsible for Project Success (Test Delivery) by coordinating with different stake holders and there by adhere to quality, test advocacy, resolution of issues that impede the testing and follow the right escalation path to keep the project on track

Key Accountabilities

Responsible for understanding the scope and business requirements

Work closely with and provide significant support to the relevant Test leads

Responsible for ensuring that the outcomes delivered are consistent with the original specified design.

Responsible to Test strategy, Test planning, Velocity plan, Defect reports, Project one pagers

Risk identification, mitigation and escalations to leadership

Provide accurate status to Release managers

Drive Defect triage and escalate to Dev owners to get the right ETA's

Ensure the Test plan and Exit reports are submitted timely as per the plan

Identify the Test Data Needs during the design to have seem less progress during test execution

Judge the project reporting color status based on the project risks

Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications:

4-6 years of previous project management experience, (Solid understanding of project management principles preferred)

Formal training in project management practices preferred

Advanced knowledge of software Test/development lifecycle

Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion

Demonstrated effective leadership and analytical skills

Advanced written and verbal communication skills are a must

Strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint

Excellent presentation skills

Able to communicate complex technical issues to a wider variety of audiences, from QA leadership through to business users and senior managers with little or no technical background.

Experienced with planning, estimating, organizing meetings, and working on multiple projects simultaneously.

Escalate, manage risks and issues and has a good understanding of critical paths.

Excellent coordination skills

Candidates should be flexible / willing to work across this delivery landscape which includes and not limited to Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment.

They normally manage a number of related streams or activities to achieve a desired business result, planned profitability levels, quality standards and highest-level client satisfaction. Project Managers are responsible for the project plan, budget, structure, schedule and staffing requirements for the delivery organization. A Project Manager usually has technical expertise in one or more other domains (e.g. a Project Manager with testing skills could perform a test manager function).

Required Skills and Experience:

You are responsible for coordinating project performance with the Project / Program Manager and for the timely and economic utilization of resources assigned to your project. You contribute to the overall project plan, highlighting dependencies with other projects. You manage day-to-day project activities, monitor and report on progress, and identify and mitigate potential showstoppers and issues.

• Qualification: Bachelor's Degree

• Certification: Is at least certified on EM foundation (level 0).

• Should have progressing in Negotiating, Vendor Management, Risk Management and Project Financials, KPI & Reporting

• Should have baseline skills Quality Management.
