JD:

Designing, implementing, and administering key middle-tier systems with complex integration points, Deployment, administration and operational support of (production, staging, test and development) environments for multiple projects on JEE Application Server (Glassfish, Tomcat, Weblogic),

Designing, implementing, and administering key middle-tier systems with complex integration points, including Glassfish , tcServer (Tomcat), Apache http server

Maintain environments by applying necessary fixpacks/feature packs pertaining to application servers

Good understanding of ITX (earlier known as WTX - Websphere Transformation Extender), IBM MQ series

Very good hands on Middle-tier security with TLS/SSL, PCI -DSS

Work with the development team to determine project requirements for test/production environments

Hands on Experience on usage DevOPS Tools chain (bitbucket, jenkins)

Strong Shell scripting skills

Competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of applications server activities

Monitor application server performance and respond appropriately

Good understanding and experience on Webservices (Rest, SOAP) deployed on Java container & ability to troubleshoot

Understanding/exposure to APM tools such Newrelic or AppDynamics is plus

Understanding/exposure of Run Support use cases such Monitoring, Alerting, troubleshooting & reporting using Splunk
