Sogeti USA is seeking to hire full time Process Improvement Analyst-s to help grow our Six Sigma and BPI team-s in the Baltimore, MD Area! This is a salaried position offering full benefits!

Job Description:

The Process Improvement Analyst will be responsible for helping Sogeti clients evaluate, plan, and implement improvements in business processes and practices. Our client have specific needs in identifying and determining solutions to business problems. Solutions are often related to IT - systems, but may also consist of process improvement, organizational change or strategic planning and policy development. Other aspects of the job can include team building and group facilitation, compiling, tracking, and analyzing data, as well as preparing group training materials.


  • Work with clients to break downbusiness processes into specific steps and improve on the groupsquality.

  • Helps the clients understand and improvebusiness processes.

  • Analysts typically work on projects designed to improvequality, reduce errors and design new business processes based on thegroup/client needs.

  • Develop process improvement procedures to improveoperational efficiency.

  • Analyze current process standards and metrics in order toprovide solutions for improvements.

  • Perform data gathering, root cause analysis and performancetrending in order to develop appropriate process control changes.

  • Coordinate with Subject Matter Experts to develop processimprovement reports for setting forth progress, adverse trends and appropriaterecommendations and conclusions.

  • Prioritize and implement process change requirements basedon the critical project needs.

  • Determine fiscal requirements and personnel resourcesrequired for process re-engineering of process change.

  • Prepare and manage budgetary requirements for processre-engineering.

  • Inform respective teams on process improvement andre-engineering strategies.

  • Work with the team to recommend appropriate changes inprocess/approach.

  • Prepare communication plans regarding process re-engineeringfor multiple stakeholders.

  • Manage projects involving engineering, research,maintenance, and operations.

  • Train and guide resources as needed.

  • Update and maintain documentation on process improvementsand process performance

  • MS Project Proficiency


  • Minimum Education Qualification - bachelor-s degree inComputer Science, Business or related field is required.

  • Experience with Process Mapping

  • Experience with Lean practices or Lean practioner

  • Experience with Root Cause analysis

  • 5-10 years- experience

  • Quick study, adaptable, highly collaborative, works well ina team environment

  • Strong communication skills

  • Strong relationship building skills

  • Demonstrated comfort with delegation

  • Able to perform duties that are client facing

Preferred Experience:

  • Six Sigma Certified Black Belt or Green Belt

  • Working in the Healthcare, Banking, or Finance industry
