Capgemini North America Strategic Events Marketing Associate in Chicago, Illinois

Responsibilities would include:

• Work closely with team members to design and execute processes that can ensure the smooth functioning of the team.

• Finance and Budget Support: Day to day management of Events & Partner marketing budget.

• Contracts and Purchase Orders: Liaison with Marketing, Procurement and Finance organizations for initiating requests for and tracking the processing/review/execution of contracts and purchase orders. Maintains a status log to ensure approvals and signatures are secured promptly and vendors paid timely.

• Event Expenses: Managing the activities, collection of receipts and filings of proof for payment of the events expense card.

• On-line Capgemini store: Manage the Capgemini on-line store; liaise with the corporate vendor for site upgrades, inventory additions, and other related matters.

• ROI Capture: Compile Lessons Learned and ROI capture reports for each event to share with NA Marketing leadership

• Reporting: Coordinate with the different members of the marketing organization to compile periodic dashboards, trackers, reports. Circulate these reports with the relevant stakeholders

• Manage and maintain the online marketing events calendar on internal and external sites. Prepare monthly communications to promote events to sales and industry teams.

• Manage the ON24 Webinar Platform and CVENT event registration tool

• Documentation: Responsible to Manage/Maintain the Event & Alliances shared folder structure set-up, content submissions and enhancements; champion tool with team to showcase best practices. Also serves as a historical reference repository.

• Coordinate weekly (and as needed) team conference calls hosted by team leader

• Provide project support for events to include:

• Ordering, Printing, Shipping event materials

• Maintaining project plans and deliverables timeline

• Liaise with creative services team

Skills, Attributes and Experience Required:

• An understanding of the operations of marketing and marketing communications in large organizations

• Strong communication skills, written and spoken

• Excellent time and project management skills

• Strong organizational skills a must

• Confidence to deal with senior leadership; ability to communicate results to management in a fast-paced environment

• Willingness to work with international teams/colleagues

• Analytical ability and an ability to structure solutions to problems

• Excellent skills in MS Office

• Self-starter; proactive; enthusiastic; milestone driven

• Any experience project managing a communication or marketing program would be good to have.

Candidates should be flexible / willing to work across this delivery landscape which includes and not limited to Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment.
