What You-ll Do
The SharePoint/O365 Architect will oversee the SharePoint Portal Server infrastructure, user access and application deployment. Support the installation, configuration, security, operation, and maintenance of all web portal servers, equipment, and software related to SharePoint infrastructure, and completing specific client work.
Install and configure SharePoint infrastructure.
Plan, design and implement SharePoint security including,but not limited to, authentication, security roles, user groups, audiences, anditem level security.
Plan, design and implement SharePoint data protection,backup and recovery.
Assist with evaluating new SharePoint technologies andrecommend best-practice solutions
Troubleshoot functional and technical incidents occurringwithin SharePoint
Plan and design improvements to SharePoint performance asdirected.
Perform corrective SharePoint administration, configurationand maintenance as required.
Create documentation for any function performed under anycompetency as directed.
Plan, design, implement and modify navigational andaesthetic changes to SharePoint pages as directed.
Ensure solutions require minimal training to the end userwhile maintaining high reliability and usability.
Plan and execute SharePoint end user training.
US Citizen or Green Card
3 to 5 years- years of experience with SharePoint/O365 architecture
3 years- experience with monitoring and capacity planning specific to SharePointMS
SharePoint 2013 or 2016 installation, configuration, and troubleshooting experience.
Microsoft SQL administration and troubleshooting
Proven problem-solving, change management and technical planning skills
A good understanding of T-SQL, MS SQL
Effective written communications skills / Good spelling and grammar skills
Strong analytical skills
Attention to detail
Experience of working effectively as part of a team
Good written and verbal communication skills
Inter-personal skills with a flexible approach and ability to adapt
Experience with programming;application of job software programs;troubleshooting and resolvingdatabase software problems
