5 years; Adobe Experience Manager ( AEM ) Developer

Capgemini is currently looking to hire an experienced Adobe Experience Manager ( AEM ) Developer. The developer will deliver complex content management solutions to customers and be able to work effectively both as an individual, and as part of a team that is led by a Team Lead. They will participate in the implementation of a large enterprise AEM initiative and will be responsible for design and development of web applications using the AEM platform, including, but not limited to, designing and developing site structure, custom components, custom workflows, object model designs (Java APIs), implementation strategy, and unit testing.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and configure web content management solutions using AEM and technologies such as Java, HTML/DHTML, XML, JavaScript, and web services

• Setup and configuration of AEM Author and Publish instances and ensuring all code works in both environments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering and/or equivalent experience in the development industry

• 3-5 years of web content management system experience working with one or more CMS packages, including Adobe AEM version 6.0 or above

• Strong Java/J2EE/JSP experience – minimum or 4 years developing large system applications

• Working knowledge and understanding of the following: JCR, Apache Sling, Apache Felix, OSGi, REST, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, JSON, HTML, CSS

Plus:

• AEM Developer Certification

Candidates should be flexible / willing to work across this delivery landscape which includes and not limited to Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment.

Responsible for programming and software development using various programming languages and related tools and frameworks, reviewing code written by other programmers, requirement gathering, bug fixing, testing, documenting and implementing software systems. Experienced programmers are also responsible for interpreting architecture and design, code reviews, mentoring, guiding and monitoring programmers, ensuring adherence to programming and documentation policies, software development, testing and release.

Required Skills and Experience:

You assign, coordinate, and review work and activities of programming personnel. Collaborate with computer manufacturers and other users to develop new programming methods. Supervise, train, mentor junior level programmers in programming and program coding. Represent team in project meetings. Work with business and functional analysts, and software & solution architects in ensuring that programs and systems function as intended Supervise, mentor and manage large teams of programmers in one or more projects. Represent project teams in project/program meetings or in meetings with sponsor.

• Qualifications: 6-12 years experience, Bachelor’s Degree.

• Must have experience in Software Engineering Techniques, Software Engineering Architecture, Software Engineering Lifecycle and Data Management.

• Should be proficient in Business Analysis, Business Knowledge, Software Engineering Leadership, Architecture Knowledge and Technical Solution Design.
