What You-ll Do

  • -Partners with Recruiting and Unit HR Managers toadvise on individual strategies to meet immigration needs with respect to prospectiveand current US employees-Partners closely with external immigration lawfirm to ensure high degree of timeliness and accuracy on all immigrationmatters-Advises Recruiters and HR Managers on F-1student matters-Manages all aspects of the PERM program-Prepares supporting documentation for visaappointments, visitor visa applications and international travel requests-Maintains immigration files-Maintains up-to-date understanding of issuesand changes pertaining to immigration-Tracks expiration dates and management ofnecessary extensions/amendments to ensure valid, continuous work authorization-Assists with monthly billing

Minimum education qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree

The ideal candidatewill have:

  • 3-5 years of experience as anImmigration Paralegal focusing on business immigration or in an HR relatedrole focusing on immigration

  • Strong knowledge andunderstanding of the following categories:H-1B, L, F and TN

  • Strong knowledge andunderstanding of the PERM process

  • Strong organizational andproblem-solving skills, attention to detail and follow through to resolveoutstanding issues

  • The skills to adapt to rapidlychanging priorities and management of multiple tasks/projects at once

  • Demonstrated ability to workwith highly sensitive, confidential information

  • Excellent interpersonal skills,high energy level, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills
