Capgemini Data Analyst Lead - Data Administrator in Detroit, Michigan

• Ensure that client needs are satisfied through the formulation, development, implementation and administration of the application solutions as per the client requirements

• Handle all Hadoop environment builds, including design, security, capacity planning, cluster setup, performance tuning and ongoing monitoring.

• Manage large scale multi-tenant Hadoop cluster environments residing on AWS and Azure.

• Perform high-level, day-to-day operational maintenance, support, and upgrades for the Hadoop Cluster.

• Research and recommend innovative, and where possible, automated approaches for system administration tasks.

• Creation of key performance metrics, measuring the utilization, performance and overall health of the cluster.

• Deploy new/upgraded hardware and software releases and establish proper communication channels.

•Performs all Informatica administration functions including user access accounts, roles, privileges and LDAP configuration.

• Working experience on Informatica installation & configuration, upgradation and hot fixes patches and maintaining Informatica software Power Center and Informatica Big Data Management.

• Hands-on experience in deploying and operationalizing Hadoop technologies on Azure and AWS.

• Experience with Kerberos and Active directory Authentication.

• Experience with Sentry to setup Security.

Candidates should be flexible / willing to work across this delivery landscape which includes and not limited to Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment.

Required Skills and Experience:

You are responsible for data related activities such as data extraction, profiling, cleansing, de-duplication, standardization, conversion, transformation and loading, data mining, warehousing, archiving and reporting. Responsible for all activities required to ensure optimum performance and data integrity of databases in production environments, in line with the requirements. Responsible for server based databases in development and test environments including database software installation, database creation, performance and capacity design, backup and recovery design, security design.

• Qualifications: 3-9 years experience, Bachelor’s Degree.

• Should be proficient in Software Engineering Techniques, Software Engineering Architecture, Software Engineering Lifecycle and Data Management.

• Should have progressing skills in Business Analysis, Business Knowledge, Software Engineering Leadership, Architecture Knowledge and Technical Solution Design.
