Skills: Sound knowledge in Unix/Linux, Sybase, Java
Java knowledge is desirable as the resource may be required to debug java code to understand the business
logic/stored proc being called/ java logs to pull out information
Must have good hands on with production support and incident management activities.
Should have good written and verbal communication.
Team player who is ready to take on issues and problems and manage them single handedly if need be
At least 4 years of coding experience in at least two of the following: Perl, Shell scripting, VB, etc.
At least 2 years of experience in either developing or converting manual processes into automated scripts.
Experience in at least two of the following techonologies: Unix, Windows, Databases and/or Networks OR
Experience in at least one of the above mentioned technologies coupled with experience in system support (UNIX or Windows)
Excellent communication skills
Ability to deliver in a fast paced & high pressure environment
Ability to develop successful client effective relationships
Strong team player
Strong knowledge of Incident, Problem and Change Management processes
Candidates should be flexible / willing to work across this delivery landscape which includes and not limited to Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment.
