Capgemini Programmer/Developer Lead - ESB Tibco Administrator in Lansing, Michigan
Location: Lansing, MI. Local candidates or those willing to relocate. No travelers.
The ESB TIBCO Administrator will have initial responsibility for supporting the design and then executing the implementation and launch of the TIBCO platform, including configuration of TIBCO Business Works, EMS, Hawk and Administrator components
Support the overall platform architecture and configuration design effort
Execute software installation, configuration and validation of each cloud and on-premise instance
Facilitate all network connectivity and security configuration elements between the platform and all connected source/target systems and client / third-party environments
Develop CI/CD framework, build, deployment, and automated health check process
Develop administrative and operational procedures for the ongoing management of the platform
The ESB TIBCO Administrator will have ongoing maintenance and administrative services delivery responsibility for the TIBCO platform under a managed services framework as follows:
Manage ESB operations, including oversight of all environments to maintain production performance, oversee back up and disaster recovery capabilities, provide Level 2/3 application support for the TIBCO platform
Support the migration of ESB integrations through the development, QA and production environments and associated ESB integration development lifecycle by providing administrative support to ESB Designers and Developers
Plan and execute mock cutovers and production release cutovers for ESB Designers and Developers
Develop and maintain overall maintenance program for the ESB TIBCO platform, including oversight, planning and execution of all application patching, upgrades and modifications, coordination with resources that support the underlying cloud and on-premise infrastructure hosting the various TIBCO application components and services
Performing service requests for administrative support, and coordinating the planning and deployment of minor enhancements performed by TIBCO Developers as part of the maintenance and administrative managed service
Maintaining ongoing platform, incident, service request and minor enhancement ticket management and service management performance reporting
Attending weekly and monthly maintenance and administration meetings with client to report out on all activities and coordinate priorities, issues and forward plans
Experience in Cloud Implementation of Tibco suite of products like Business Works, EMS, HAWK, Administrator etc.
Experience with installation and configuration of Tibco products in LINUX environments
Experience in deploying and supporting the Tibco applications
Experience managing multiple environment software development ecosystems
Experience configuring Hawk to monitor distributed applications and experience configuring rulebases
Experience monitoring TIBCO infrastructure (Hawk)
Experience using TIBCO Administrator
Strong working experience with SSL certificates, X509 token etc.
Strong knowledge in troubleshooting issues also issue resolutions
Hands on experience with build and continuous integration tools like Ant, Maven, Jenkins, Hudson, or similar
Hands on experience managing large code bases in modern version control software like Subversion, Git, or similar
2 years administration experience overseeing TIBCO Business Works (6.x preferred), Adapters (ADB/SAP/FILE/FTP) (6.0 or higher), EMS 8.x preferred) environment
Working experience with TIBCO BW pallets like File, JMS/EMS, SOAP, Service, Policy and WSDL
Working experience in implementing and managing security features using TIBCO BW including web service security.
Must be capable of working independently to pursue solutions and problem solving
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Demonstrate anticipation and initiative in the planning for and management of problems.
Implement technical or procedural solutions to problems
Candidates should be flexible / willing to work across this delivery landscape which includes and not limited to Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment.

Responsible for programming and software development using various programming languages and related tools and frameworks, reviewing code written by other programmers, requirement gathering, bug fixing, testing, documenting and implementing software systems. Experienced programmers are also responsible for interpreting architecture and design, code reviews, mentoring, guiding and monitoring programmers, ensuring adherence to programming and documentation policies, software development, testing and release.
Required Skills and Experience:
Write software programs using specific programming languages/platforms such as Java or MS .NET, and related tools, platform and environment. Write, update, and maintain computer programs or software packages to handle specific jobs, such as tracking inventory, storing or retrieving data, or controlling other equipment. Consult with managerial, engineering, and technical personnel to clarify program intent, identify problems, and suggest changes. Perform or direct revision, repair, or expansion of existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements. Write, analyze, review, and rewrite programs, using workflow chart and diagram, and applying knowledge of computer capabilities, subject matter, and symbolic logic. Write or contribute to instructions or manuals to guide end users. Correct errors by making appropriate changes and then rechecking the program to ensure that the desired results are produced. Conduct trial runs of programs and software applications to be sure they will produce the desired information and that the instructions are correct. Compile and write documentation of program development and subsequent revisions, inserting comments in the coded instructions so others can understand the program. Investigate whether networks, workstations, the central processing unit of the system, and/or peripheral equipment are responding to a program's instructions. Prepare detailed workflow charts and diagrams that describe input, output, and logical operation, and convert them into a series of instructions coded in a computer language. Perform systems analysis and programming tasks to maintain and control the use of computer systems software as a systems programmer. Consult with and assist computer operators or system analysts to define and resolve problems in running computer programs. Perform unit testing Assist in system and user testing Fix errors and bugs that are identified in the course of testing.
• Qualifications: 3-9 years experience; Bachelor’s degree
• Should be proficient in Software Engineering Techniques, Software Engineering Architecture, Software Engineering Lifecycle and Data Management.
• Should have progressing skills on Business Analysis, Business Knowledge, Software Engineering Leadership, Architecture Knowledge and Technical Solution Design.
