Capgemini Test Analyst - Senior Test Consultant in Lee's Summit, Missouri

Resource should have minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in the area of Software Testing and Quality Assurance and should have a Mater Degree or equivaluent.

Roles and Responsibilities:

 Define Test Plan, Test Strategy to identify phases and types of testing required

 Analyze and understand High Level Requirements created in the form of Sprint Epics to identify all possible scenarios for the specified Use-cases and define test case outline.

 Review FSD/BAPD from Sprint Stories to identify testable use-cases and specify in-scope/out-of-scope testing items with appropriate reasons for out-of-scope items.

 Use Black-Box test design techniques viz Boundary Value Analysis, Equivalence Class Partitioning, Decision Table, Error Guessing, State Transition to design complex test cases and conduct walkthrough, review of Test Cases to improve test effectiveness and cover negative scenarios.

 Experience in testing Enterprise application Integration (EAI) services\Process in a N-Tier Architecture

 Design and Execute Component, Integration and End-to-End System Integration Test Cases

 Complete knowledge of Software Bug Life Cycle

 Ability to write intermediate SQL Queries (DML) and perform data validation testing.

 Strong HP QC or HP ALM skills and JIRA.

 Exposure to testing application built in Oracle products like OSM, UIM, ASAP, Microservice is a plus.

 Experience in Telecomm domain is preferable

 Experience working with and testing REST and SOAP Web services.

 Intermediate knowledge of scripting language Groovy is a plus

 Perform Tier1 analysis of Production/QA issues, review for defect acceptance and identify test steps/data to recreate in lower environments.

 Excellent communication and collaboration skills

 Ability to manage time, multi-task, and meet deadlines working in a demanding environment

 Strong team player

 Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

 Intermediate knowledge of scripting language Groovy is a plus

 Estimate Test Effort and prepare Test Schedules for all test phases in MS Project to align Testing timeline with Release Delivery Schedules.

Candidates should be flexible / willing to work across this delivery landscape which includes and not limited to Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment.

Test Consultants are concerned with the independent verification and validation of the products produced by the development process. Testing is carried out in each phase: the requirements are tested by an acceptance test, the system design (analysis and design) by a system and integration test, and the programs by a program and module test.

Required Skills and Experience:

You design and develop more complex tests and non-functional tests. You perform many of the roles required of a software testing project, through which you acquire a full testing lifecycle experience. Typically you perform these roles as a senior member in a wider team. You act as a stream leader with technical delivery ownership within a limited number of technology areas. You contribute to bid or client proposals based on your technological expertise. You have delivery ownership and guide individuals and groups towards desired outcomes. You also actively participate in at least one community.

• Qualification: Minimum 5 years experience, Bachelor’s Degree.

• Certification: Should have SE level 1 and seeking level 2.

• Should be proficient in Business Analysis, Business Knowledge, Testing, Software Engineering, Architecture Knowledge, Technical Solution Design and Quality Management.
