•Trading Applications L2 Support (both In house and Vendors)
•Manage environment (Windows and Unix)
•Batch Job Monitoring
•Working knowledge of Server migration
•Support Prod and non-prod environments
•Investigate issues raised by different team
•Maintain application access for all users
•Working with vendor for vendor application deployment and issues
•Co-ordinate with different team to resolve issues (Trading Support Team and Offshore Team)
•Interact with Traders for any end user support
•Day to Day activities like User Access / Folder Permissions / Ad-hoc job running / Analysis of issues
•5 years of experience supporting large scale, API driven web applications ·
•3 years of experience working with relational databases such as Oracle 12c and MS SQL Server ·
•Technical knowledge of Unix and Windows operating systems
•Administration and troubleshooting skills of Windows and UNIX Operating System (AIX/Solaris/Linux)
•Demonstrated ability in scripting as well as Unix command tools, Ability to develop UNIX Shell Script.
•Can manage multiple tasks and use judgment to prioritize and escalate to achieve Service Level Agreements ·Participates in project work in support of business initiatives ·
•Good working product knowledge of fixed income and equity products
•Must have an understanding of trading industry concepts and terminology
•Able to work in a fast paced trading floor environment
•Must have proven ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
•Must have excellent customer support and communication skills
•Troubleshooting experience in financial trading applications
•Good verbal and written communication skills ·
•Ability to work in a fast-paced, often high pressure environment
•Should be well versed with ITIL concepts and more specific understanding of Service operations activities
•Worked in a infrastructure critical environment and understands how technology adds value to the business and ultimately the end customer
Candidates should be flexible / willing to work across this delivery landscape which includes and not limited to Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment.
