Capgemini Senior Business Controller in New York

Finance & Business Controlling:

Manage the monthly closing process and ensure timely reporting

Preparation of monthly P&L, KPIs, profitability and other financial metrics

Oversee accounting tasks performed by local and offshore team

Preparation of monthly forecast for the unit, including variance analysis of actuals/budget

Participation in budget processes for the business unit and group

Support with financial and trend analysis, reporting and presentations for business reviews, etc.

Control of balance sheet, intercompany reconciliation and preparation of accruals and journal entries

Support and challenge the business on financial performance

Ad hoc requests from CFO, Executive team and operations

Project and Sales Controlling:

Analysis and control of project financials, including DVI, profitability, KPIs and book-to-bill

Preparation of project budgets in collaboration with sales and project managers

Risk management and tracking/reporting of project financials from sales through project completion

Cash Management:

Responsible for cash analysis and forecast for the unit

Drive cash flow improvement measures and oversee accounts receivables, ageing inventory, etc.

Compliance and Process improvement:

Monitor and implement checks and controls to ensure both statutory and Group compliance

Design and implement best practices to help streamline processes as well as improve profitability and productivity

Facilitate internal audit process and requirements for the unit

Cost Controlling:

Cost analysis and validation, incl. actuals, forecast and budget

Support CFO and management to maintain cost control and ensure profitability

Main qualifications:

7-10 years of experience from finance/business controlling or audit

Bachelor/Master's degree within finance, accounting or business administration with strong academic records, CPA preferred

Strong analytical skills with a structured, accurate and proactive approach to problem solving

Excellent collaboration and communication skills, including fluency in English

Dedicated and result oriented with ambition to excel

Advanced user in Excel and PowerPoint

Proficient with reporting tools, Hyperion and Oracle

Candidates should be flexible / willing to work across this delivery landscape which includes and not limited to Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment.
